Media Arts Alum to Screen Film at Sundance!

Media Arts BFA alumnus (2006) Jonathan Pulley has been selected to screen his senior thesis film MOVE ME in the 2007 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Program. MOVE ME, produced in the Department of Media Arts BFA program, was written and directed by Pulley and crewed by Media Arts students.

71 short films have been selected out of 4,445 American and international submissions. The short films chosen this year represent the creativity and technological innovation of the genre and a focus on diversity, eclecticism, and a creative departure from the norms of film production.

MOVE ME tells the tale of Graham, who over the course of his last evening with his dad, must find a way to say goodbye before his relationship with his father slips away completely.

The 2007 Sundance Film Festival runs January 18-28 with screenings in Park City, Sundance Resort, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah.

Johnny Pulley is an amazing young filmmaker - with knack for telling a story with subtlety & insight. His film, Move Me is a very nice accomplishment and I hope the best for him. - daniel K
